Make the Most out of Your Manure with More Than Manure

AmberFebruary 5, 2016Agronomy, Manure Equipment

Manure is a valuable fertilizer source; why not make the most of it?  More Than Manure Nutrient Manager (MTM) is a manure fertilizer manager formulated for all manures and litters, liquid or dry. MTM is the only manure fertilizer manager proven to reduce phosphorus lock-up and nitrogen loss from volatilization, leaching, and denitrification.

How is MTM beneficial?

Since MTM protects P and N when applied with manure fertilizer, both nutrients are more available for plant use. As a result, overall plant performance is improved and helps increase yield potential. On top of improving fertilizer nutrient efficiency, MTM can also reduce ammonia levels in livestock confinement operations and has been shown to reduce solids when added to a pit or lagoon. Plus, MTM leaves no environmental footprint and is non-toxic to livestock and soil bacteria!

How is MTM applied?

MTM can be added to confinement pits or lagoons, in transportation and applications equipment for liquid manures and/or sprayed over the top of dry applied litter/manure. Depending on the nutrient management plan, MTM can be applied in either the spring or fall and is not limited by the type of crop or crop rotation restrictions.

Volunteer corn, is it only cosmetic?
