90 Years of Serving to Solve Problems

While I was in college, I began working at Stutsmans in the summer. I eventually came back to work full-time in 1997 helping in the manure equipment division before transitioning to the sprayer side and taking the lead on our sprayer parts offerings. We certainly didn’t get our start in sprayer parts, and at the time, it was still in the very early stages (we didn’t even have a catalog yet). With a desire to meet customers with what they truly need, we slowly took off into a whole new division which has grown into the field and application equipment and precision ag division you see today.

Striving to Better His Operation: Mark Smyth

It’s the day after Christmas and Mark Smyth is packing up his snowmobiles to head to northern Wisconsin with his neighbors, their families and his youngest daughter, Katie. They’ll spend a week hitting trails and enjoying being outside. Then, Mark and his crew will head home. They might return a few more times if the weather allows. For Mark, snowmobiling is a peaceful escape. It also helps make the winter go by faster and his favorite time of the year arrive sooner.

“I just really enjoy the springtime,” said Mark. “Usually, we’re pretty close to wrapping up calving by the time we start planting.”
