How do I return a product?

Can I return a product without an RMA number?

No, products cannot be returned without an RMA number. An RMA number must be issued for all returns. Please see our Terms & Conditions.

I received my shipment and product was damaged. How do I file a claim?

All damage claims must be noted on carrier receiving paperwork.

Shortages and/or errors must be noted at the time of delivery and reported on the carrier’s delivery receipt. Please notify customer service within 7 days of delivery.

how soon will my order ship?

We can ship all stock items within 2 business days from the time of confirmation or from the time of payment on credit card orders. **This excludes special order, out of stock and back-ordered items as lead time may apply.

Where are my orders shipped from?

Orders are shipped from Hills, Iowa. Special order, non-stock items may ship directly from the manufacturer.

how is shipping determined?

» Unless noted on the purchase order, orders will ship prepaid and add.

» Stutsman’s main parcel carriers are UPS and Spee-Dee Delivery.

» Freight orders will be shipped with the most economical and time-effective carriers.

Do you ship domestically and internationally?

» Yes, we ship domestically (United States).

» For international shipments, FOB Hills, Iowa. The customer arranges freight and must provide international documents.

What’s the difference between single vs. double acting hydraulic cylinders?

Both are hydraulically driven.

» Single acting cylinders have one port that pushes hydraulic fluid into the cylinder to open and a spring inside the cylinder pushes it back closed when the fluid is removed.

» Double acting cylinders have two ports on each side so pending the flow of the hydraulic fluid, the cylinder either opens or closes.

Terms & Conditions

Credit

Net 30 with established credit. Unpaid invoices will be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. We proudly accept Visa and Mastercard.

Unpaid account balances could restrict order shipment pending payment arrangements.

Shipping

Unless noted on purchase order, orders will ship pre-pay and add. Stutsman’s main parcel carriers include UPS and Spee-Dee Delivery. However, other carriers can be used upon request. Freight orders will be shipped with the most economical and time effective carriers.

A collect handling charge is applied due to the rising cost of shipping material; such as boxes, tape and packing. We have implemented a collect handling charge of $10.00 per order on all small package collect shipments effective 9.23.22. This charge will be removed if shipping prepay and add.

Claims

All damage claims must be noted on carrier receiving paperwork. Shortages and/or errors must be noted at time of delivery and reported within 7 days of delivery. Returns

» RMA is not a guarantee of credit.

» Return items with RMA packing list and RMA number written on all packages.

» Customer is responsible for return freight back to Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc. -Hills, Iowa

» Credit will be issued upon inspection of returned goods.

» RMA expires 30 days from issue date. If product is not returned in the 30 day window, RMA will be voided.
