We’re excited to gain their fresh perspectives this summer in agronomy, human resources and logistics. Help us in welcoming our intern class by getting to know a little bit about them!
Help us welcome Courtney Porter, a Dallas native, to the Stutsman Logistics team! Courtney’s roots and motivation for transportation stem back to her grandparents being truck drivers. In her 17-year career in the industry, she has spent 10 years in sales, five years in marketing and three years in leadership.
Meet Scott Stiller, our new director of sales for Stutsman Logistics. Scott grew up in Floyd’s Knobs, Indiana. He attended Purdue University where he became interested in logistics during his junior year. Although Scott only joined our team in August, his 23 years in the industry, 22 years working for C.H. Robinson, and 17 years in leadership make him a natural fit. On top of his logistics experience, Scott’s background working for local farmers as a youth pairs well with Stutsman’s roots in the agricultural industry. Scott is responsible for scaling Stutsman Logistics by developing strategic partnerships with customers and delivering exceptional value while leveraging a consultative approach.
From wowing a customer with outstanding communication and service to canceling a day off to make sure freight got updated and booked, our May STRIVEr took the lead and adapted his schedule to make sure logistics customers were taken care of. With little review and guidance, our September STRIVEr took the lead to make sure our logistics division was handling claims issues. Heidi Smith, carrier development manager, exceeded expectations by not only tackling those pending claims but took the time to develop a procedure that we use today. This summer we have had the privilege to host two college students as logistics interns. Since early June, Jetta Golembiewski and TJ Fleita have been learning the various parts of logistics from working with carriers to learning about account management.More
After 45 years in the transportation industry, Mark Kuckler retired on Dec. 23, 2021. Serving as an account manager for Stutsman Logistics (SLI), Mark’s experience in the transportation industry started well before he joined Stutsman’s in April 2018. More
Stutsman Logistics is excited to welcome Liz Hickey to the SLI team! Since September, Liz, expedited account manager, has been helping customers win loads. Help us welcome Steve Smith, one of the newest members to the Stutsman Logistics team. As an account executive, Steve helps SLI discover new customers while managing existing relationships. Having been in the logistics industry since 1982, Steve knows the importance that comes from valuing people and says he has never met a person that he couldn’t learn something from. His extensive industry experience includes working for CAST North America, Heartland Express, Gordon Sevig Trucking Company, and LTI Delivers. We’re excited about the expertise Steve brings to SLI!
