January STRIVEr: Garrett Sexton
Our January STRIVEr went above and beyond (without being asked) to help a coworker when he saw an issue with their vehicle. Read the nomination below to learn how Garrett Sexton exceeded expectations to earn the January honor.
Nomination
On the morning of Jan. 16th, my car was sitting in the parking lot in front of the retail center with a flat tire I didn’t know about. Garrett noticed the flat tire and before he even mentioned it to me, he was out in the freezing cold airing my tire up for me. He also checked the rest of my tires to make sure they were okay before finding me to let me know what had happened and that I should keep an eye on it. Just letting me know about the tire would have been nice in my book, but instead, he exceeded expectations and set the bar higher by taking action before I even knew it was flat!
