Know Your Nozzles
When it comes to application season, spray nozzles are often an overlooked piece of a sprayer. Although usually the least expensive component, sprayer tips are one of the most important factors in weed control. If proper nozzles are not used, our ability to manage weed pressure decreases as weed resistance continues to climb. An operator’s overall goal should be to maximize weed control, use rates as the label requires, and minimize drift through the proper nozzle selection/ droplet size.
Meet the 2018 Interns
We look forward to the arrival of interns every single year. Each group is different in so many ways; experience, group dynamic, and ideas. Yet with all the differences, we tend to have the same feelings at the end of the summer. We are refreshed with a new perspective, satisfied with the professional growth of the students through a short period of time, and we are left optimistic for the future of our industry. We are so excited to get to know these four Iowa State students and if your paths happen to cross this summer, we encourage you to say hello! If you are curious about what our interns are up to throughout the summer, keep an eye on our blog and social media!More

Nitrogen adds growth and color while phosphorus is needed for adequate root growth. The last major nutrient you should be considering is potassium which aids in the overall health of your lawn. To help in your yard fertilizer selection process, we jotted down the best use for each of the products we carry.More
