May STRIVEr: Justin Hunter
Our May STRIVEr set the bar higher by chasing down extra seed to keep a customer planting over Mother’s Day. Read on to learn how Justin Hunter exceeded expectations to ensure one of our growers could get the remainder of their soybeans planted.
Nomination
After taking seed to a customer on Saturday, May 11, Justin confirmed with the customer that he would have enough to finish and would not need any more for the weekend. We took Sunday (Mother’s Day) off expecting no calls. That afternoon, Justin received a call that the customer ran 26 units short of soybeans to finish planting. Having exhausted our supply of the customer’s brand of seed the day before, Justin called the district sales manager who was able to locate more seed at another dealership. Justin picked up the product and delivered it to the customer, taking much of the afternoon. Justin exceeded expectations by going to such lengths on Mother’s Day to get the customer the seed he needed to finish planting.
