What is your background?
I received a bachelors degree in elementary education from University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. I’m 1 of 8 siblings, and have a husband, 2 children, and 2 grandchildren.
Where have you worked before Stutsmans?
I’m coming out of retirement, but was previously an elementary teacher for 1st and 5th grade in Arkansas!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Playing musical instruments! I play various instruments, but my favorite is the piano.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
In 6th grade, I beat every boy in arm wrestling in my class!
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you bring?
A guitar, crossword book, and her crochet bag.
What are some items on your bucket list?
A trip to New England in the fall.

What’s your favorite thing about the agriculture industry?
Agriculture is all still new to me, but I am very fascinated by it all.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
What is your favorite family tradition?
St. Urho’s Day on March 16th! This holiday is similar to St. Patrick’s day, except it’s celebrated by Finnish people and they wear purple in place of green.
If you could be any animal what would it be?
Which Stutsman core value do you best resonate with?
Set the Bar Higher; this probably comes from my background of teaching. My mentality is that if you set the bar high, your students will always find a way to rise up and meet it!
