What is your background?
I was born and raised in Texas! My parents are from Northwest Iowa and brought me back to Iowa when I was 17. I graduated from Algona High School and Iowa Lakes Community College. I have two older brothers and one younger sister. I’m married with three kids; two sons and one daughter!
Where have you worked before Stutsmans?
I worked at CRST Logistics for 12 ½ years prior to coming here. Before that, I was a kitchen supervisor in Coralville.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I’m an auto enthusiast, especially with Ford Mustangs! I also enjoy wrenching and driving almost any V8 powered muscle car or hot rod.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
The only dogs I’ve ever had in my life were German shepherds, until my wife decided we should adopt a Siberian husky. I will never have another husky again!
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you bring?
Water, a helicopter, and jet fuel for the helicopter.
What are some items on your bucket list?
Drive a Nascar car around Daytona, own an AC Cobra, and skydive!
What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Dierks Bently in 2006.
What’s your favorite thing about the agriculture industry?
The equipment; I love operating tractors and other large equipment!
What is something you are passionate about?
My family and the successful upbringing of my children.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d love to take my wife to Tahiti!
What is your favorite family tradition?
4th of July Camping!

A soaring eagle!
Which Stutsman core value do you best resonate with?
Radiate Enthusiasm! I have always been the type that feeds off others’ attitudes. For that reason, I make it a goal to be happy and upbeat for any others that may feed off me as well.
