Alan Eden recently joined the Stutsman team as a Custom Applicator; help us welcome him! Born and raised on a farm outside of Lone Tree, Alan will be helping our Agronomy department custom apply product this crop season. Learn more about Alan through his Q&A below!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
We raise standardbred racehorses. I spend most of my time working with them at home or traveling to the races.
What are you most passionate about?
Racing horses. It is the biggest sense of accomplishment when you can see your “babies” make it to the races and win!!!
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I really, REALLY like video games!
What’s on your bucket list?
Going to the Little Brown Jug at the Ohio State Fair. It is kind of the Kentucky Derby for harness horses.
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
What is your favorite family tradition?
I sound like a broken record……. horse racing!
Who would you like to swap places with for a day?
Ron Burte, he is a horse trainer. I admire his passion and work ethic.
If you were stuck on an island what 3 items would you bring?
Probably nothing. I don’t plan very well.
If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Chris LeDoux, hands down.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
Well, I guess a horse!
We are excited to have Alan on our team! If you see him around, be sure to say hello!
