Renegade: Agitation Trailer with a Loadstand
By: Sydney Greiner, Bazooka Farmstar
Earlier this year, Iowa-based liquid manure handling equipment manufacturer, Bazooka Farmstar, released their Renegade agitation trailer that allows operators to do more, faster. The manufacturer is traditionally known for delivering high-quality solutions serving the injection and liquid transfer segments of the manure management process and has recently introduced its newest product category addressing the agitation segment.
With the Renegade agitation trailer, you can focus your time where it matters. A compact trailer-bound agitation solution allows you to transport the unit at highway speeds, pull right up to the manure source, and quickly and easily maneuver the 29’ triple-fold boom (with two load-out locations) into the manure pit. Start your engine and let the agitation process begin. The Renegade eliminates the need for additional equipment to agitate manure and the headaches that can come with installing traditional vertical pit agitators. The trailer comes standard with a low-maintenance, 15” Bazooka Farmstar submersible pump and a 173HP John Deere engine, capable of reaching up to 2,900 GPM with a 125 CC hydrostat motor. You can run at this rate for 16+ hours without refueling the 150-gallon fuel tank.
Since the initial release of the Renegade agitation trailer, Bazooka Farmstar has introduced a hydraulically controlled, 10″ integrated loadstand boom option. This new feature allows operators to agitate, pump and load liquid manure with a single piece of equipment. The Renegade’s loadstand integration takes portable loadstands out of the equation for safer, easier and faster travel between job sites and a quicker setup once on site.
The pump boom remote control also hydraulically maneuvers the loadstand boom. The remote controls are proportional, allowing easy and precise placement of the fill pipe. The Renegade can also accommodate infinite remote control fobs that operate the agitate and fill functions, so crew members never have to leave the cab until the job is done. The remote fobs include push-button speed changes, so operators can truly top their tanks off and maximize each trip to and from the field.
