Introducing Titan 2
Cream of the crop, state of the art, best of the best: you get the gist. However you want to say it, Titan 2 possesses all the power of the original Titan Manure Injection Toolbar, and then some. The Titan Series was the first-of-its-kind, front-folding manure injection toolbar upon its initial release in 2015. With its ability to make full turns in the ground and the immaculate, seemingly undisturbed condition it leaves the field in when the job is done, Titan has earned a best-in-class status and has never looked back. The self-proclaimed, “Titan turn” is a promise Bazooka Farmstar has built on with the release of Titan 2.
Titan 2: Building on Success
Titan 2 takes all the winning features and benefits of the original Titan Manure Injection Toolbar Series and capitalizes on them. The position of the tower has been moved further forward, making it more closely align with the tires, enabling less resistance when turning in the ground at the end of a pass. Concurrently, the design of the toolbar body has been reinforced to provide an even stronger solution that can withstand exceptionally rugged field conditions. The new robust design comes in lengths from 40’ to 60’, increasing the number of Phantom units that can be incorporated across the toolbar.
Titan 2 has been equipped with larger flotation tires to counteract the steel that has been incorporated into the new design. The center section tires have been upgraded to 700 series flotation tires, while the gauge wheels have been enhanced to 550 series flotation tires.
Key Features of Titan 2 Manure Injection Toolbar
Two notable features that come standard on the Titan 2 are the Flux Manifold and 3” bumblebee drop-tube hose. The Flux Manifold is accompanied with a new lift-assist for more convenient clean-out and a new block indicator light that allows operators to quickly detect an obstruction in the manifold. The 3” drop-tubes hold the smartest hose routing to date, minimizing sagging that would otherwise cause sand build-up and hose clogging. Pair this with the three all-new LED work lights and you have a toolbar built for added convenience.
“The Titan 2 is a great solution for the custom pumper that wants to apply manure on drier summer and early fall ground, such as wheat and chopped corn silage fields,” said John Yoder, Vice President of Waste Handling. “It features a much more robust subframe than the Titan 1, as well as much larger flotation tires for wetter conditions. Weight is not an issue getting this machine to penetrate and we are able to add more units for heavier application rates. The 8” swing arm and Flux Manifold package is a standard feature for increased flow as well as a different turning radius. This is helpful as we are offering more row units. While this toolbar is not for everyone, it does fill a void for some customers.”
