Introducing Monovet® 90 from Huvepharma®
Huvepharma® recently released Monovet® 90, the first FDA-approved generic monensin. Monovet® 90 now give producers a cost-effective option for feeding monensin.
Monovet® 90 can improve feed efficiency and rate of gain in cattle, as well as increase milk production efficiency in dairy cows. It also aids in the prevention and control of coccidiosis in both goats and cattle. Coccidiosis, an infection of the intestinal tract due to parasites, negatively affects animal health and growth.
Approved for feeding to beef cattle, dairy cattle, and goats, Monovet® 90 can also be used with tylosin, ractopamine, and melengestrol. A Type A medicated article, Monovet® 90 is approved for the manufacture of Type B and Type C medicated feeds.
Monovet® 90 is not approved for feeding horses; it is toxic and potentially fatal to equine.
