What are your responsibilities?
In a nutshell, I problem solve and provide customer relations and service for our feed customers.
How long have you been here?
Since March of 2011!
What is your background?
I grew up on a small family farm raising beef cattle and hogs. I attended Illinois State University and earned my bachelor’s degree in ag business. I started working here at Stutsmans within 1 year of graduating college.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with friends and family and going to live music and concerts. I also like being outside, especially riding ATVs.
What do you consider to be the most rewarding part of your job?
Either getting the first sale with a prospective client, or helping a customer out of a bind.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I have flat feet.
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life what would it be?
If you were stuck on an island what 3 items would you bring?
A full cooler, a beach chair, and an umbrella.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
A Series of Happy Accidents
What’s on your bucket list?
Go skydiving, fly a helicopter, drive over 200 mph, and visit Hawaii and Alaska.
What has been the biggest change in the industry during your tenure here?
The VFD legislation.
If you had to be a product you work with, what would it be and why?
I would be Diamond V’s Original XPC® or XPC® Green Yeast Culture; it’s a well known and proven product that aids in gut health and feed efficiency.
