Employee Spotlight: Terry Yoder

Through our Employee Spotlight Blog Series, learn about the people who make up the Stutsman team. Terry Yoder started with us in 1996 and is now the Sales Manager of our Feed Ingredients Division! Let’s learn more about this Kalona native!

What are your responsibilities?
I support our team or territory managers, as well as work with key customers and vendors on products and placement.
What is your background?
I was born and raised in Johnson County, IA on my family’s farm and graduated from Mid-Prairie High School. I worked in the family feed business until landing at Stutsman’s.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Playing golf, traveling, going to garage sales and flea markets. and spending time with the grand kids!
What do you consider to be the most rewarding part of your job?
Building relationships with customers and vendors.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I’m kind of an eBay geek and have jumped out of an airplane!
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Ribeye’s and McDonalds French Fries!
If you were stuck on an island what 3 items would you bring?
My wife, sunglasses, and a positive attitude.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
The Thrill of Victory and No Agony in Defeat
What’s on your bucket list?
Play golf at the Old Course in St Andrews, Scotland!
What has been the biggest change in the industry during your tenure here?
Consolidation.
If you had to be a product you work with, what would it be and why?
Salt! It makes everything taste better, melts snow, and looks nice on the rim of a Margarita glass.
What is your favorite thing about the ag industry?
The people, with their genuine passion for the ag industry!
