Employee Spotlight: Samantha Worrell
Although the agriculture industry and our products/services may change over the years, one consistent factor remains; our employees are one of the most important ingredients in our recipe for success. Through our Employee Spotlight Blog Series, learn about the people who make up the Stutsman team. Meet Staff Accountant Samantha Worrell! She’s been on our team since 2013 and handles the accounting for Stutsman Logistics and Stutsman Transportation!
“Samantha is a very dedicated financial resource to the transportation segments of our business. From early in her tenure with the company, Samantha took ownership of all accounting aspects of Stutsman Logistics and provides superb support to the rapidly growing brokerage business. In her responsibilities, Samantha regularly exemplifies many of the company’s core values. Often, we see Samantha enthusiastically Take the Lead for initiatives like paperless invoice processing, electronic 1099 reporting, and presenting various financial reporting tools to the company’s leadership. Samantha Values Collaboration through regular communication with individuals in both transportation companies. This includes giving timely data, recognizing and reporting out issues, and working with truckers on their invoicing payment questions. Her hard work keeps our highly dependent cash flow business operating correctly financially!” – Scott Syzmanek, CFO.

Exceed Expectations. I think of an expectation as the bare minimum. It’s expected and nothing more. Exceeding that minimum is a concrete way of showing you care and value what you’re doing.
