Employee Spotlight: Rob Frank

Through our Employee Spotlight Blog Series, learn about the people who make up the Stutsman team. Rob Frank has been in our Waste Handling division since 2007 doing equipment sales and service!

What are your responsibilities?
Assisting the customer in selecting the right equipment for their individual needs. I also do some minor service work.
What is your background?
I grew up on a grain and livestock farm in Sigourney, Iowa and went to Sigourney High School. In 1987, I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Ag Business. I married my wife Tina in 1988, and worked in and managed a sow unit for 20 years. We have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy time with the family and grandchildren, working in my shop and motorcycling.
What do you consider to be the most rewarding part of your job?
Meeting people and developing a good working relationship.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I still have a dirt bike and enjoy playing in the mud on the weekends when I can!
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Hot ham and cheese.
If you were stuck on an island what 3 items would you bring?
A wide brimmed hat, big knife, and fire starter.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
Keep It Moving

Visit Germany!
What has been the biggest change in the industry during your tenure here?
The shift from smaller to larger equipment.
What is your favorite thing about the ag industry?
The people!
