Employee Spotlight: Jeff Viner

Through our Employee Spotlight Blog Series, learn more about the people who make up the Stutsman team. Meet Jeff Viner, a member of our customer service and billing for the feed department. Jeff is in charge of all feed billing and manages the dock and retail feed department. He has been a part of Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc. since 1980. What is your background?
I grew up in Lone Tree where I also graduated from high school. I moved away for a bit and then came back to the town.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I like to be outdoors, doing anything from yard work, fishing and playing with old cars and trucks.
What do you consider to be the most rewarding part of your job?
Getting to know the customers.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I am a huge Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan.
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Jimmy Jack’s Ribs.
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you bring?
Jimmy Jack’s Ribs, my family, and a baseball.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
Go to a Cubs World Series game and a Packers Super Bowl game.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
I was looking for a part time job!
What has been the biggest change in the industry during your tenure here?
The Precision Agriculture.
What is your favorite thing about the agriculture industry?
Being a part of feeding the world!
