Employee Spotlight: Dan Newendorp
We strongly believe one of the most important ingredients in our recipe for success is our employees. Through our Employee Spotlight Blog Series, learn more about the people who make up the Stutsman team. Dan Newendorp is a dairy sales and service tech with our waste handling department. Dan works hard to service and install dairy equipment as well as drag line equipment. He also applies anhydrous in the spring and does basic help in our shop area. We greatly appreciate all of his hard work and dedication to the company and our customers; learn more about Dan below!
What is your background?
I grew up in Oskaloosa, IA and graduated Iowa State with a degree in Animal Science.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Fishing and Hunting.
What do you consider to be the most rewarding part of your job?
Helping customers.
What is something random most people don’t know about you?
I’m an open book, people know a lot about me.
If you had to eat the same food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Sweets.
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you bring?
A fishing pole, tent, and a pan
What would be the title of your autobiography?
Sh*t Happens
What is at the top of your bucket list?
Pay-off college and travel.
What has been the biggest change in the industry during your tenure here?
Equipment size.
If you had to be a product you work with, what would it be and why?
The hitchpin, without it you wouldn’t have anything behind you.
What is your favorite thing about the agriculture industry?
Harvest time.
