Welcome to the Team Mike Conover

Joining our team just in time for the spring growing season is Mike Conover, our new VP of Wholesale Fertilizer. Mike grew up on a farm in Holstein, Iowa, and has remained in the ag industry since, working for cooperatives in northwest Iowa for the past 27 years. The past 15 of those years were spent involved in agricultural procurement.

We’re fortunate that Mike was willing to move southeast to be a part of our team in Hills. Mike is excited about the new adventure that comes with learning a new area and serving our wholesale fertilizer customers. When he’s not helping our wholesale customers get their needed crop nutrient inputs (and his grandkids aren’t keeping them busy), Mike and his wife, Melanie, enjoy being outdoors, especially riding bikes.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

It’s my family. I have an amazing wife and two kids who are married and have given us four grandkids. We’re blessed.

What is on your bucket list?

I would like to travel to Greece.
