Welcome to the Team Jefferson Keller
Hailing from the Cornhusker State is our newest territory sales manager for our Nebraska and South Dakota territory, Jefferson Keller. Growing up, Jefferson was heavily involved in 4-H and FFA; showing livestock in youth shows helped him build his Hereford herd, which he maintains today. He received his bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was a member of the livestock judging team. He went on to coach the team for three years and has most recently served as a feed sales specialist at a cooperative.
Jefferson lives in his hometown of St. Paul, Nebraska, with his parents and girlfriend and enjoys helping juniors succeed in the cattle show ring and grow as individuals. You can also often find him cheering on the Huskers and even the Cyclones (he calls himself an adopted Cyclone fan). Jefferson looks forward to setting the bar higher for those in his territory by finding the right solutions for their businesses.
Who has influenced your career the most?
The list is too long to name just one. Multiple friends and family members have had a big influence on my career by setting examples and pushing me to be the best I can be.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be?
Golf. I enjoy playing now, but it would be far more fun if I was an expert.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
“It’s never wrong to do the right thing.” – Jim Williams
What is something random that most people don’t know about you?
I was in band and choir throughout junior high and high school.
What is on your bucket list?
Raising a national champion.
Which Stutsman Core Value means the most to you?
Set the Bar Higher. I’m extremely competitive and constantly trying to think of new ways to improve or stand out. In this business, the bar never stays the same, so why can’t we be the ones to raise it?
