Every year the weather is one of the most challenging aspects of business that every farmer has to deal with. The 2019 growing season reminded us of this and how little control we have. Managing a farm is a balance of making a plan, executing a plan, and calling audibles for the elements that are beyond our control. STRIVEr of the Year: Ellis Smith
At the start of fiscal year 2019, we launched the STRIVEr program to celebrate employees who embrace the Stutsman core values and truly serve fellow employees, customers, and community members for success. In the first year of the peer-driven, STRIVEr program, we had 73 nominations, and 19 people who took home monthly STRIVEr honors. These monthly winners were then voted on by fellow employees for the STRIVEr of the year honor.More
