March STRIVEr 2025: Robert Linnebrink

Sometimes the little things can add up in big ways. Our March STRIVEr, Robert Linnebrink, has made a big difference in a short period of time by valuing collaboration to collect much needed pallets from our customers on his return routes, benefiting both them and us.

Nomination

“Robert Linnebrink, one of our feed route drivers, recently moved from long hauling to day routes. Because day route drivers are not always reloading full loads to bring back to Hills, there is an opportunity to be proactive, taking the lead and collaborating with our customers by asking if they would like to return any pallets. Not only has he been successful in returning pallets, but he has also identified customers with full loads of pallets who would like to get rid of them to free up room at their facility. In March alone, Bob was responsible for approximately 1,000 pallets being returned. Not only are we finding that customers appreciate freeing up space at their business, but we are also able to reuse the pallets. This is impactful as we are always short on pallets and often purchasing pallets for our needs.”
