2024 STRIVErs of the Year: Miguel Rios and Bryce Esmoil

Through our STRIVEr program, we celebrate employees who embody the Stutsman Difference and embrace the Stutsman Core Values.
Our 2024 STRIVErs of the Year took the lead when vital upkeep at our Riverside and Wellman agronomy facilities was needed to keep our NH3 equipment and facilities safe for our customers and team members. We are excited to announce plant operators, Miguel Rios and Bryce Esmoil, are our 2024 STRIVErs of the Year.
“Bryce and Miguel have performed several duties outside of their normal roles over the last several months. Because Riverside is unmanned, they support the facility in maintaining all toolbars and nurse tanks as well as upkeeping the grounds and fixing equipment. This is on top of the maintenance they conduct on the Hills equipment. Both have also helped out with relief valve changeouts on the storage tanks in Wellman as well as assisting with maintenance on their toolbars and tanks as needed. All of this work is crucial to ensure we are not only compliant with state and federal regulations but also providing our customers with safe and reliable equipment. Bryce and Miguel are exceeding expectations with their display of ownership and initiative.”
A STRIVEr award winner is selected each month based on nominations received during the previous month. Our monthly STRIVEr winners then become finalists for the STRIVEr of the Year and are voted upon by fellow employees at the completion of our fiscal year.
We received 54 nominations during the 2024 fiscal year. Admin led the departments with 15 nominations, and operations had the most monthly STRIVEr awards. Our 2024 STRIVERs of the Year were previously recognized as the October 2024 STRIVErs of the month. They were selected from the following 12 monthly winners and STRIVEr of the Year finalists:

This year, we added two new STRIVEr awards: Most Nominated and Top Nominator. Our Most Nominated award winners are consistently exemplifying the Stutsman Difference — so much so that it gets noticed on many occasions throughout the year. This year’s Most Nominated award winners were Kevin Flynn and Garrett Kline.
Our Top Nominator epitomizes a team player. They value our core values and regularly go out of their way to ensure their peers are recognized for living out our values. Without our nominators, this program would not be possible. Our Top Nominator for 2024 was Tim Minard.
